Making Healthy Nutrition Changes Is Easier If You Focus on THIS

Trying to make improvements and upgrades in our health can be a daunting task. This seems especially true for many folks when it comes to Nutrition upgrades.

One strategy I’ve successfully employed over the years with not only patients & clients, but with myself & our family as well, is to focus on ADDING the “good” and healthy choices first… as opposed to eliminating the “bad” as your very first step.

Indeed, there will come a time when your focus does need to shift to reducing and (possibly) eliminating the toxic and deficient choices that are being made too often… but I see greater success and sustainability when we start with adding the good.

For many, it’s easier to control adding more of the good than it is to stay away from the bad, at least initially. It’s a great momentum builder and confidence builder… you start to feel like you’ve “got this thing”… and you can then proceed to make even healthier choices down the road.

One example of how this plays out with Nutrition is to add a healthy salad or healthy veggies to your meals to build up your health. Or, adding more pure drinking water to your day, if you tend to fall short in this area. Simple, right? Nobody said anything about taking away your favorite tasty toxins… at least not yet!
